Alumni Moving On.....
Connie Jerz (Tucson High 2000), was 2004 NCAA Indoor third-place finisher, 2004 NCAA Outdoor runner-up with a PR of 4.30 (14'1-1/4") for the University of Arizona as a scholarship athlete.  Connie also made the Pac-10 All-Academic Team in Spring 2004.  Formerly a scholarship athlete at Long Beach State and still the school record holder at 4.07 M (13'4.25"), she qualified for the 2001 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships as a freshman and sophomore.  Connie was the AZ state record holder (12'2-1/2") (through 2002), as well as the AZ 5A meet record holder (11'6).  She was 2nd at the 2000 Great Southwest Invitational, 6th at the Golden West Invitational, and an All-American at the USATF Junior Nationals in 2000 with 8th place, 5th in 2001.  Connie is currently enrolled in Parker Chirpractic College in Texas.
Doyle Davis (Salpointe 2003) was a vaulter for Pima CC.  Doyle had a HS best of 14'6" and was 5th at the AZ 5A State meet.  He completed the 2004 season at Pima CC with a season best of 15'7 (4.75).  In 2005 Doyle competed for Mesa CC and now lives in California.
Megan Cassidy (Salpointe 2002).  Megan graduated from the University of Arizona, while on full academic scholarship and on the track team.  She has a PR of 10'2".  As of fall 2006, Megan is working for Teach for American in NYC.
